My love story with capturing beautiful moments started long before I began chasing the gorgeous, rustic light of the greater Bangor area.
I grew up at the Jersey Shore, where the horizon feels endless and life is measured by the rhythm of the tides and the warmth of the sun. Living by the coast taught me at an early age to appreciate the fleeting beauty of a single moment—how the light hits the water just right, or how a split-second laugh can warm up an entire room.When life brought me to Maine, I brought that coastal appreciation for light, warmth, and vibrant energy with me.
The Perspective of a Mom of Two.
While my technical training and over two decades of experience shaped my eye, becoming a mom of two completely transformed my heart as a photographer. As moms, we know all too well how agonizingly fast time moves. One day you are holding a tiny newborn in a hospital room, and the next you are sending them off to their first day of school. Being a mother taught me that the most beautiful photos usually aren't the rigidly posed, perfectly stiff ones—they are the chaotic, raw, deeply real ones. It’s the crinkly-nosed smile, the tight squeeze of a toddler's hand around your thumb, the quiet glance shared between partners, and the sacred, tender bond of a nursing session.I don't just photograph your milestones because it's my job; I photograph them because I know exactly how fiercely you will want to hold onto these exact feelings twenty years from now.
